Involvement
Chicago Public School’s Citywide Interscholastic Sports Program
Root Brothers is a proud sponsor of the City of Chicago Public School’s Sports Programs. In partnership with our vendors, in 2011 we were able to provide over $10,000 worth of Gatorade Sports drinks to numerous inner city high school sports teams.
Chicago Urban League
A key partner in training and work programs designed to educate and put citizens to work thru workforce development.
The Neighborhood Intern Project – Roseland
The Neighborhood Intern Project – Roseland – is an afterschool program in the Roseland Community that provides tutoring instruction in math and reading. Specific projects include life-skills education, summer community clean-ups and improvements in the Roseland community.
Roseland Little League
For over 40 years, Root Brothers has sponsored a Little League Team as well as individual players in the Roseland Little League. Additionally we donate equipment and material for field maintenance.
Chicago Police Department – CAPS Program
Root Brothers is a long term partner with the Chicago Police Department in the CAPS Program. The CAPS Program is partnership between the police and the community which is the foundation of Chicago’s philosophy of community policing, known as CAPS – the Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy
Robertsdale Little League
Root Brothers sponsors and supports Robertsdale Little League in their efforts to create opportunity for involvement, growth, and fun.
